The small, shaggy-haired dog that was recently discovered in the dumpster appears to be shaking and emaciated.
It’s always heartbreaking to see an animal in distress, but one little dog has touched hearts around the world after being found near death in a pile of rubbish. Lou Sisk rescued Missey from that pile, where she was half-starved and barely clinging to life. He knew he couldn’t just walk away!
Missy needed several months of recovery after her surgical procedure, but received excellent care. Her weight gradually began to increase and she became stronger and more resilient. It wasn’t long before she was ready for a permanent home.
Fortunately, she didn’t have to wait long before she discovered a fantastic family that she could claim as her own.
