When 33-year-old Ryaï Jesse died suddenly from a brain hemorrhage, the medical staff reacted unexpectedly. 
“The hospital was so kind to us, allowing us to bring my brother’s dog in to ‘say goodbye’ so she could understand why her human never came home.” Ryaп’s sister Michelle wrote on Facebook: “If you know my brother, you know how much he loved his precious pup.” 
While the video of Rya and her dog Molly’s bonding moment was intended for her immediate family, it quickly went viral.
“The stories of others, their sharing in our pain, and the generosity of so many people have impacted and humbled us greatly,” Michelle writes.
Rya’s heartbroken dog Molly is good luck, according to Rya’s sister: “Don’t worry about the dog! We’re going to keep her!!! She’s a member of the family.” Rya’s doorstep heart is destined to save the life of a 17-year-old boy just in time for Christmas, according to Michelle.
