Froky continues to wait for his best friend, a mailwoman named Shaun! Froky has been Shau’s best friend since he was a seven-week-old puppy. The two are inseparable, and seeing Shaun is always the highlight of Froky’s day. “When she’s in her truck, picking up all her packages and getting ready to come to our house, you see her tail wagging so fast, and if she takes on too much movement, he gets impatient,” Froky’s mom, Eilee, told The Dodo. Froky has grown into a 180-pound dog who could easily jump the front yard fence if he so chose. But Froky, on the other hand, is a sneaky guy who always stays on his side of faith. Luckily, Shaun still gives her plenty of pets and hugs!
Shaun had a chocolate lab that died, according to Eileen. She believes Froky provides him with the puppy cuddles he craves. “I think just having this short break with Froky helps her and gives her something to look forward to,” Eilee explained.
Shaun and Fronky are remarkably great friends. Shaun will occasionally pay Fronky a visit on his days off. “Shaun has become sort of a member of our family,” Eileen explained. “She constantly forgets to come, and we can’t wait to see her every day… And Fronky is completely out of control when he hears her voice.” Fronky’s affection for Shaun is typical for his breed, according to Hill’s Pets. According to the website: “With family members, Bullmastiffs are cherished and loved.” Their specifically calm and easy-going personalities make them ideal for families with well-behaved youngsters. When a stranger enters the scene, the Bullmastiff’s laid-back attitude toward family members is likely to change. These dogs are wary of people who are not members of their family.”
The most plausible answer seems to be that froky considers Shaun to be part of his family. How adorable! “I appreciate that it’s a mutual love,” Eilee commented on froky and Shaun’s relationship. “So they both look forward to it.” fronky is a cute, huge dog with a lovely best friend.
