Cristiano Ronaldo Responds to Luis Castro’s Potential Dismissal and Speculation About a New Role at Al Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo finds himself without a coach at Al Nassr after their 4-1 Super Cup defeat to Al Hilal. While not officially confirmed, Luis Castro is on the verge of leaving the club following this disappointing loss, which clearly left Ronaldo visibly frustrated.

Castro, who was a coach endorsed by Ronaldo and arrived at the club with the essential “yes” from the star, is expected to be fired by the Al Nassr board. President Ibrahim Al Muhidib has already made the decision, but the dismissal will only be made official once the new coach has been chosen.

The decision of the sports board, chaired by Fernando Hierro, is final. The club is already looking for a new coach, with rumors pointing to Portuguese Sergio Conceição (ex-Porto) as a possible alternative. The start of the Saudi Pro League is scheduled for next Thursday, and Al Nassr intends to win the title, challenging Al Hilal, who have been a strong opponent in recent times.
