Jude Bellingham, an England international who had a memorable debut season in Spain, and the new ‘Galáctico’ Kylian Mbappé feature in the promotional campaign that accompanies Real’s new kit.
Sam Handy, senior vice president of product and design at adidas, commented on the bold look Real Madrid will wear in 2024-2025: “Each season, we have the privilege of reconceptualizing the away kits of the clubs we serve, delivering visuals iconic features that can be enjoyed by both long-time fans and a new generation of fans. This season’s Real Madrid away kit is no different – its hues and vibrant choice of colors reflect a club shooting for the stars with a new generation of exciting talent – and we can’t wait to see this eye-catching kit being worn on the streets and in the pitch, when Real Madrid play away from the bright lights of the Santiago Bernabéu.”
Real Madrid wore an orange kit in the 2013-14 season, when Portuguese star Ronaldo was at the peak of his career. He scored 51 goals in all competitions that season, helping to win the Copa del Rey and Champions League, with more of the same now expected from Mbappé, Bellingham, Vinicius Jr and co.
Cristiano Ronaldo, upon seeing the new uniform, couldn’t help but express his admiration: “This new orange uniform brings me many special memories. It was an incredible time at Real Madrid and it’s great to see the club reclaiming this part of its history. I’m sure this new generation of players will continue to shine with him.”
