Jackie Horпυg has gone viral for traveling on the New York City subway with her dog Lυmi in a backpack.
Jackie Horпυпg reveals that some rules just have to be broken.
When one of his followers asked him why he does this, Horpe simply replied that “dogs belong in bags on the New York subway! To make sure that’s why the backpack is there!”
A video posted by @littlebearlυmi shows Horпυg being carried to the subway with a big green hiking backpack that includes Lυmi on his back with his legs on his shoulders and his head sticking out to the side.
She also revealed a short clip of her holding onto the chair on the treadmill while trying to balance herself with her back up.
Lυmi is about 1 1/2 years old and stands about 2 feet tall when on all fours, she recently told Newsweek. He also “loves me holding him” and is “pretty calm” when he’s in the K9 duffel bag, she added to the outlet, especially since “he has a lot of animals, which he really enjoys.”
Despite his size, Horpeg said the pup is surprisingly light, telling the video commentator that he weighed about 55 pounds. When asked if his legs got “squashed” while in the bag, Horpeg replied that his bag was “roomy enough” and had “a good system at the bottom for him to sit normally.”

According to the Cornell University website, New York law states that “No person may carry an animal into a means of transportation or center unless the animal is enclosed in the container and transported in a manner that will not disturb other passengers.”
Working dogs, such as police dogs or service dogs that have been trained to guide people with special needs, are exempt from this rule. However, even people with service dogs must show “proof of membership in a specialized training school” and that the pet is an authorized service animal, Cornell University added.
In response to the rule, several people have come up with creative methods of getting their dogs into the trunk, including some who have stuck their dogs directly into an Ikea bag with holes cut out for the dogs’ paws. Several other Yorkers have posted photos of themselves carrying their dogs into purses and gym bags.
Lυmi himself seems to be enjoying the experience of getting around New York. The dog can be seen checking out several iconic landmarks, including Grand Central Station, Central Park, and Rockefeller Center, on his Instagram page.
