One small dog has emerged as a true warrior, overcoming a life filled with pain and suffering that left her with deep, enduring scars.

Meet Lilac, the courageous little dog rescued in Atlanta, Georgia, where she was found hiding beneath a car. Her injuries told a heartbreaking story—attacked by other dogs and tormented by humans who only added to her misery.

The little dog is enjoying her second opportunity, all she wants is to give and receive lots of love.

Although she was very hurt and had not met the right people, the dog was very receptive when her rescuers approached.

He crawled under the car to meet them,  as if recognizing that this time he was in the right hands .

Volunteers from Second Chance NYC Dogs took the dog to the veterinary clinic, where she received emergency treatment. An examination revealed she had severe injuries to her legs and a broken jaw.

She also had some wounds on her stomach, it is possible that she was hit. Fortunately,  she was rescued in time and now she had a big battle to win .

Despite her injuries, the little dog  would still wag her tail every time someone gave her attention . This was her way of showing gratitude and that she would fight for her life.

The first few days after her simple rescue were rocky, but her rescuers did everything to save her. Sweet Lilac  proved to be a true warrior and surprised everyone with her fighting ability .

“There is a long way to go on her side and  she has a lot of will . There is something special about this little survivor. She is so sweet and beautiful,” said Secod Chace Rescue NYC Dogs.

From the first moment the little dog made it clear that she was an  adorable ball of fur who only wanted to love and receive love .

“She’s the kind of dog that requires you to breathe deeply, sit down, and  recognize the connection that she can give you .”

Lilac faced a great battle, after a long treatment  the veterinarians were unable to save her paws .

However, she responded satisfactorily to the surgery and began the new adaptation process. She  only has three legs, but that does not limit her to having a normal life  like any other dog.

Thanks to the outpouring of love she received from her caregivers,  Lilac is a happy dog ​​who is now enjoying her first opportunity . A spokesperson for Secod Chace Rescue NYC Dogs said:

“He had to fight a long time to get to where he is now. He may have lost a leg, but  he has a family the size of the universe.

She  is being showered with love  from those at the hospital and everyone else. We are deeply touched by the outpouring of love and support for Lilac.”
